The SM08 has a black resin layer on the upper surface of the magnet. This coating increases protection against shocks, scratches and external agents.
The sleek, black finishing gives an elegant look to this product, which is an added value for all those applications where the magnet is exposed and visible.

The threaded rod makes it fixing the magnet quick and easy, without having to use glue or other adhesives.

The magnetic NdFeB alloy’s adhesive force is further enhanced by the steel cup, ensuring high performance even in the smallest sizes.

This makes these magnets particularly popular in various industrial sectors, such as furniture, automation, advertising, furnishing elements, thermoplastic molding, industrial equipment, etc.

The standard version of SM08, although provides the magnet with greater protection against external agents thanks to its waterproof resin layer, is not suitable for more heavy-duty uses such as direct contact with moisture or salt.

To overcome this limitation, we have introduced specific items with stainless steel cup, so as to allow its use in environments where a normal steel base would not resist long before deteriorating.

Due to the characteristics of stainless steel, the magnetic field is not amplified as it normally would be. We therefore opted for magnets with N52 grade to maximize the adhesive force.

This series of products is particularly suitable for specific uses outside, in direct contact with water or other chemical agents.

The maximum standard operating temperature for resin-coated products is 60°C.
On request, we can supply magnets capable of operating at higher temperatures, as indicated in the Materials Table.

Many of these sizes are also available in other variants, with different coatings and degrees of magnetization.

The force values given in the tables are the result of dynamometric tests performed with a 10 mm thick iron plate.
Any variations from this standard may affect the actual performance of the magnet.
