The SM16 has been specially designed to increase the effectiveness during recessed mounting.
The knurling on the bottom of the cup, in fact, maximizes the grip inside the seat where the magnet is pressure-mounted (as in recessed housings in wood panels or other materials). The magnet is also surrounded by an additional reinforcement comprised of a rubber and resine o-ring and for greater structural integrity.

The magnetic NdFeB alloy’s adhesive force is further enhanced by the steel cup, ensuring high performance even in the smallest sizes.

These characteristics make them widely used in many sectors: furniture industry, automotive industry, advertising industry, thermoplastic molding, industrial equipment, etc.

The maximum standard operating temperature for resin-coated products is 60°C.
On request, we can supply magnets capable of operating at higher temperatures, as indicated in the Materials Table.

Many of these sizes are also available in other variants, with different coatings and degrees of magnetization.

The force values given in the tables are the result of dynamometric tests performed with a 10 mm thick iron plate.
Any variations from this standard in the use may change the actual performance of the magnet.

It is always recommended to perform specific tests according to your application.
